We had a beautiful sunny day walking around the Byward Market and captured some gorgeous fall urban images. Seriously, these kids were awesome – and mom and dad weren’t too shabby either! Thanks J and family!

I shouldn’t even be looking at these! I have a few things on the to-do list BEFORE editing this weekend’s urban family session, but when I saw this one, I just had to share immediately! This was the first frame I shot!

The weather has been amazing for fall family portraits this year. I had the pleasure of spending the afternoon with these gorgeous kids who were just loving all the leaves that surrounded us. And can you blame them? Mother nature is at her best in the fall! And just look at this beautiful family!! The combination couldn’t have been better.

Couldn’t resist a quiet one of mom and dad
I met with this fun couple to capture a wonderful and exciting time in their lives ~ a new baby!! C & G are expecting their first child – a baby girl – in a few weeks time and already her room is done and waiting. You just have to see her nursery! It is gorgeous! Can you tell how much she is anticipated? My daugher would go nuts for this purple room!
See you both in a few weeks with your little bundle of baby girl!!
This session was a real treat for me ~ twins!! I enjoyed every minute I spent with R&M so I know mom and dad will have a blast bring up these lovely ladies. Thank you T&D for letting me capture your girls and spending the afternoon in your home. I wish you nothing but the best.
A shoulder for each of Daddy’s little girls 
I have been wanting to photograph this family for some time now. Mom and I have been friends since the birth of our first children. When you are a mom for the first time, it is so nice to have someone going through the same things at the same time as you. So I consider myself extra lucky to not only have met a great new friend in those early days of parenthood, but to have them as neighbours to boot! Now a few houses and children later we still get together on a regular basis. Although, until now, I had never done a portrait session for them. I was thrilled when mom FINALLY let me give her this gift.
C, I know I don’t need to tell you again, but your love and support this summer meant so much to me and my family. Thank you for being a wonderful person and friend.
After a wrong turn or two, I finally found my way to the home of T & A in Arnprior, this past weekend. It was a beautiful drive, but baby T was even more beautiful – or should I say handsome!?! T made his big debut a little earlier than anticipated but at almost 2 months old he is still so tiny! Technically a ‘baby’ his adjusted age still qualifies as a newborn in my eyes – and clearly mom and dads!
And lets not forget about the newest big brother on the block!
