My very own Maternity Session!

As most of my clients know, I am currently expecting baby #3!

I was so lucky this past weekend to have my friend and fellow photographer Petra King, capture this special time for my family.  Petra knew I was looking for a special outdoor location - which is hard to find this time of year in Canada – but she really pulled through.  Cullen Garden’s in Whitby proved to be everything I desired and Petra’s photos were everything I imagined they would be!  In the grand scheme of things, pregnancy is such a short moment in our lives and to have these memories to look back on, makes me incredibly happy.  We were more than happy to make the trek from Ottawa to capture these images.

Anyone expecting in Toronto or the GTA, should really check her out!

The Littlest Baby Ever ~ Ottawa Newborn Photographer

Have I ever mentioned how much I love my job?  Seriously, I do!  I get to meet some of the most incredible people, hear the most interesting stories and photograph the most adorable babies!  And yesterdays session with C &M was no exception!  Their new addition was quite easily the smallest baby I’ve ever met!  Born at 4 pounds 6 ounces, little J was still under 6 pounds at our session!  Coming from someone whose children were both over 8 pounds at birth, this was a real treat!

Express Yourself ~ Ottawa Children’s Photographer

If you missed the Wee Welcome.ca Express Yourself Event this past weekend, you really missed out!  It was a blast!  The kids had so much fun decorating cupcakes, painting chicks, making picture frames, playing in the Gymboree play area and having their picture taken! 

I would personally like to thank everyone who came out to the National Art Gallery and bought tickets.  A portion from each ticket is going to the Make a Wish Foundation.  It is a very worthy charity and I was glad to take part in some small way.

And for those of you who sat for me: Keep a look out for your pictures!  They should be arriving in your inbox in the next day or two.  For now, see if you can spot yourself!

Sweet Pea ~ Ottawa Newborn Photographer

This 8 day old little girl was literally a Sweet Pea!  Once she was sound asleep, I just positioned her and clicked away!  I could have kept going all afternoon!

Express Yourself! Mama Mingle ~ Ottawa Child Photographer

I am so excited to announce that Jennifer Bailey Photography will be at the WeeWelcome.ca “Express Yourself” event on Saturday March 14th, 2009!  The event is being held at the National Art Gallery and runs from 10am – noon, so be sure to come and check out all the activities for yourself!
