On a dreary, grey morning, I drove to meet G&JP and their newborn Baby H at their home. To say that H lit up the room is an understatement. He is such a handsome, calm and peaceful baby and the joy he brought to the house made it feel like a bright, summer day. Mom and Dad are smitten with their little guy and it shows!

In a world where we binge watch tv shows and expect instant gratification in almost all aspects of life, it is so nice to slow down and appreciate the moments. The moments that you want to remember and lock away.
Waiting for your newborn baby to arrive is the ultimate test of patience and forces you to slow down.
You wait long months to snuggle them, kiss them, love them, so when they arrive it is like exhaling and realizing the wait is finally over.
So many people were anticipating the birth of Baby B and now that he is here, the moments are being cherished and he is being loved on by a very grateful mom and dad.

This newborn session felt like a real full circle moment for me! I have had the privilege of photographing S&N’s engagement session, wedding and now their first baby! Baby N was a delight to meet. Just hitting his one month birthday, we saw lots of facial expressions, big eyes, yawns and finally that perfect newborn sleep. What a perfect addition to their family!

A new baby is always exciting, but when you’ve already been blessed with two girls, when you hear the news that you are having a baby boy, it just adds to the excitement!
I was able to photograph K’s maternity session, just before we all were impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. Little did we know how much our lives would change and that we would be forced to postpone Baby S’s newborn session. While disappointing, everyones health and safety was the priority. However we made up for it with a gorgeous family session, with a happy smiling baby boy, front and centre!
