There were many many people waiting for the arrival of this baby, but none more so than Mom and Dad! Baby M made everyone wait an extra 9 days past his due date, but really, when they are as cute as this, the waiting is worth it!
You may remember Mom’s maternity session – click here for a reminder! She purchased the Belly Bump to Baby package as a surprise gift for her husband. However, after seeing the maternity proofs herself, she could’t wait to share with him!! So Dad joined us for M’s newborn session. I’m so glad he did as I *love* daddy and baby shots!
Thanks again K&M! It was great to spend the afternoon with 2 fellow Queen’s grads and to photograph your little peanut. He is certainly a keeper!

It is that time once again! Today is Farley Mowat Public Schools 3 annual Mayfair!!
Come on out to the school grounds at 75 Waterbridge Drive in Barrhaven from 10am-2pm today and join in the fun! There will be games for the kids, a talent show and a bbq and bake sale! All proceeds will go towards increasing the school’s literacy resources. It is a great way to take part in the community and improve the educational materials for current and future Farley Mowat students. Win Win!

Spring has sprung here at Jennifer Bailey Photography!
Things have definitely been very busy both on a personal and professional level.
On the personal side, both my girls have spring birthdays. And being a birthday fanatic I tend to go a little overboard, which, makes a lot of work for me! One down, one to go! I’m hoping to find the time to post a few pictures in the coming days, so be sure to come on back!
Professionally there are a TON of sessions coming up! Newborns, families, babies!! I can’t wait to share them all with you. If you are thinking about booking a session in the coming months, now is the time to give me a call in order to avoid disappointment!
And of course a picture. This will be the last one of my “baby”. Next month she is officially a toddler *sniff sniff*
After a session is wrapped, images have been editted and the proof gallery has been put online, inevitably one of the first questions my clients ask me is how will I ever choose? This is always a difficult task – especially when the portrait is of your loved one, the apple of your eye!
Usually there are clear favourites and these are the images that are often bought as a canvas or as a large print that will find a wonderful spot hanging in your home. But then there are those other images, ones that you love and have to have, but aren’t necessarily going to be hung up on a wall.
Where do you put these prints??
I myself know that I am guilty of putting them aside, maybe in a drawer, and loosing track of them over time. In fact, just the other day I found some of the beautiful prints from my own maternity session, with the talented Petra King, that were taken in March 2009 – almost a YEAR ago!
So when choosing your prints, why not consider buying them in an album from your photographer?? This is the perfect why to keep your prints safe AND to take them down from a shelf every once in awhile and ENJOY them! Two very different, but amazing masterpieces!
I was so pleased when Donny Nguyen contacted me this past summer. He wanted to know if it was alright to use one of my engagement photographs of S&C to create a piece of artwork for them for as a wedding gift from him. Of course, C being my Brother in Law and S my future Sister in Law, how could I say no! They are 2 of our favourite people in the world and I knew from seeing Donny’s work, he would being giving them an amazing gift.With the wedding taking place this past weekend the final result was unveiled and I couldn’t be more thrilled with Donny’s interpretation! It is fantastic and I know S&C absolutely love it!
